Let Them Eat Noodles

Work is very slow since coming back from New York at the end of September. I’ve been busy answering all the stock requests that have replaced assignments from New York, London and San Francisco, but a few commercial proposals have been sent out as well. I’m making a major push to get more of those in 2010 along with a significant stock image enterprise with a photographer friend in Bangkok. Gone are the days when I could comfortably enjoy life on editorial assignments. So for now noodles from the street rather than “farang” indulgence at hotels (although the value of food on the street surpasses Western food here by prodigious amounts.)
This is Bami moo daeng poo — egg noodles with roasted pork and crab, chinese greens and a shrimp dumpling at a “best of” Bangkok food fair.
